PRE-APPLICATION CHECKLIST
 
To ensure you are ready to apply for a stall, we have prepared this quick and easy checklist.
 
If you have any questions, please send an email to stalls@mangomela.com.au.
 
Before you start the application, make sure you have:
 
  • read and understood the Mango Mela Stall Categories, Diagrams and Rates
  • read and understood the Mango Mela Stall Hire Terms & Conditions
  • a Non-Profit certificate (if you are a non-profit organisation)
  • a list of items you will be selling
  • a list of electrical appliances you will be bringing and their wattage
  • your contact details as the authorised person and be prepared to sign
  • current Public and Product Liability Insurance certificates ( To obtain insurance please visit insurance provider websites:  AAMI, MyMarket and Localcommunityinsurance)
  • your credit card (fees apply) or, if you will be paying by direct deposit, be prepared to upload the receipt as proof of payment
 
If you plan to book a food stall or van, make sure you have:
  • the number of power outlets you require
  • a list of gas or charcoal appliances you will be bringing (if applicable)
  • the size of the van (if applicable)
  • Halal certification
  • Last Council inspection
  • a current FSS (Food Safety Supervisory) Certificate

    Reminder
    Fairfield Council’s Environmental Health Officers may carry out inspections of temporary food stalls during operation.
    Hefty on-the-spot fines may be issued directly to food stall operators for non-compliance with the requirements of the Food Act 2003 and Food Standards Code.
Need an Invoice?

If you need an invoice before your organization can pay, the Verify page can be used as your proforma invoice.  Print that page off (eg. to PDF), save the form and come back to it (using the save link provided) and complete the payment.
